I’ve been working in financial services for more than six years, starting in retail banking before moving on to providing specialist financial guidance on workplace benefits and pensions.
After achieving my diploma in regulated financial planning, I began providing advice and have been doing so since July 2019.
My role within the business is to interact with new and existing clients, understand their circumstances and ambitions. Then we can create and manage an effective plan to help them achieve their goals.
An area where I have accrued experience is in retirement income planning, helping clients to balance their short-term financial desires with longer-term financial needs.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
Helping people to realise their goals and putting an effective plan in place to achieve them.
Where in the world can you not wait to get back to again?
New Zealand – I visited some years ago and I fell in love with it! I’ve also got family over there and it would be great to see them all again.
Where in the world have you never been but hope to get to visit one day?
Chernobyl – I find it fascinating how nature is taking back the abandoned city and would love to see it (for a fairly short time) in person.
What’s the most important thing you’ve learned doing your job?
Every client is unique. What may on the surface seem like very similar circumstances can actually be subtly different, meaning no two solutions are ever the same.
What three things are guaranteed to put a smile on your face?
A cooked breakfast at the weekend, seeing the family at Christmas, a round of golf with friends on a warm day.

Before moving into Financial Services, I spent a couple of years living in Australia.
